The Park Picnic scheduled for tomorrow April 26, 2012 has been cancelled due to weather forecast. Students do not need to bring their own lunch tomorrow and the school bus will run on a regular schedule.The picnic will now be held on the following days after the golden week break.
Monday, May 7 for Kindergarten and Preschool
Tuesday, May 8 for Elementary School

いつもお世話になっております。
明日、4月26日（火）に予定しておりました遠足は天気予報を考慮し中止とさせて頂きました。明日は通常の授業を行います。ランチは学校で用意させて頂きますのでお弁当を持参する必要はありません。中止になりました遠足は今後下記のように予定いたします。
5月7日（月）→ プリスクールとキンダー(Preschool, K3, K4, K5)
5月8日（火）→ エレメンタリースクール(G1, G2, G3, G4)

Welcome to Tokyo West International Elementary School !

Our mission

1, Non-Japanese students who are living in Japan can learn all subjects through English. They will also learn the Japanese language at the same level as Japanese students during G1-G6. Through their experiences which are not only Japanese language but also Japanese culture, they will learn to understand and respect other cultures.
2, Japanese students who graduate from International preschools and kindergartens will be eligible to enroll in the Elementary School. Not only will the students learn to speak, read and write at the native level of English but also the ability to understand and respect cultures other than their native culture. This will give them the tools to be able to become great leaders of the world in future.
We believe that our elementary school graduates should go to the international schools for G7-G9. However, if students choose to go to Japanese public or private Junior High Schools, since we will focus on a high level of Japanese language education, this transition should take place smoothly. Our Japanese language curriculum will have provided a G7 program when students graduate from the elementary school. Our curriculum offering is hard but fun. We are sure we can provide a high level educational program at a reasonable price.

設立の目的

1, 日本に居住する外国人の子弟が、母国語（英語）を使用して小学課程のすべての教科を学び、かつＧ６卒業時には、日本の小学課程修了とほぼ同程度の日本語能力を身につけること。日本語のみならず、日本文化を体験することにより、異文化を理解し、受け入れることのできる人間となること。
2, 日本人の子弟で、インターナショナルプリスクール＆キンダーガーテンを卒園したものが、その後の小学課程を英語ですごし、世界に通用する英語力を身につけること。さらに、真の意味で自国・他国文化を理解し、将来、国際社会で活躍できる人間となること。
本校は、上記の目的のため設立されました。そのため、当校の卒業生は、インターナショナルスクール中学部への進学を希望するものが望ましいと考えます。もちろん日本の公立・私立中学校への進学も視野にいれ、日本語教育にもできる限り力をいれてまいります。当校のＧ６卒業時（小学課程修了時）には、中学１年生で学ぶ学科内容までを終了するカリキュラムとなる予定です。たいへんハードな授業内容ではありますが、できる限りリーズナブルな料金設定と最高レベルの教師陣、カリキュラムを実現し、楽しく学べる環境を提供してまいります。
